Can an 817 optocoupler be measured with a multimeter
Answer: To test an 817C optocoupler, you can use a multimeter to check the resistance between the input and output pins. If the resistance is very low, the optocoupler is likely working properly. When current flows through the LED (input side), it emits light. In this video, I explain how to check the LED side and transistor side of an optocoupler, how to identify faulty components, and how to test common optocouplers like the PC817 easily. -
