Assembly and Welding

Depending on the design, parts of the enclosure are spot-welded or fastened together, with reinforcements added at stress points for durability . Components such as busbars, terminals, neutral and ground bars, and circuit breakers are then installed inside the enclosure . In some facilities, components like inlets, outlets, breakers, and meters are sourced externally and integrated into the box .

Surface Finishing

To protect against corrosion and improve aesthetics, enclosures undergo surface finishing processes such as powder coating, galvanization, or painting . Powder coating involves applying an electrostatically charged powder that is baked to form a uniform, durable finish .

Testing and Quality Control

After assembly, each distribution box undergoes rigorous testing to verify wiring accuracy, component functionality, and compliance with safety standards . Labels, voltage markings, and test stickers are applied before packaging and shipment .
